I am posting this letter to let those of you whom may be interested as to the ridiculous goings on over at POR. I was banned a month or so ago from being able to participate on POR and so be it..I have no beef with that...But now a fellow upstate NY wheeler has been accused of being dishonest and the end result is he is being banned as well and both he and I are being accussed of inappropriate behavior. My reasons for posting open letter are as I previously stated two fold: To get the message to POR that this is an injustice to my friend and fellow wheeler Jim aka Gotzuk and to forwarn those of you whom may participate on the POR BB that you should be very wary and alert to the fact that lies, innuendo, and misrepresentations of facts can result in your being banned, harrassed, as well as slandered. I have included the following text of a letter via email that I sent to the Moderator whom has made the false acqusations concerning Jim......................................."The banning of Gotzuk is not correct. You and I may not see eye to eye but punishing Jim is not right. Granted I broke the rules and was banned, I crawled in under the wire and yanked your chain, obviously, orange text etc.. and you caught it as I knew you would and did what you felt was appropriate. But please don't admonish Jim for trying to be helpful to me by posting that I had winches for sale. He did it because he got one and knew I had an unlimited supply to sell and so he posted. He was not aware that he would be banned, as neither did I or otherwise I would have told him to refrain.
If you need documentation such as a NYS drivers lic. faxed to you to prove we are not the same person and in fact live 60 miles away from each other I will supply that as will Jim. In fact, if need be, Jim and myself could go to a Notary Public and get the proof and then at my expense mail the official notarized statement as to our separate identities to you. This may seem overboard on my behalf but I am truly embarrassed and feel quite responsible for this situation for Jim, and want to resolve it as quickly as possible. POR is the premier BB for wheeling and yes I do miss being able to participate on it very much, but, I screwed up and I pay the price of no admission.....Jim should not be afforded this same banning because of a false accusation and assumption on behalf of the POR administration. I hope you will consider this and hope it can be resolved in an "adult" and mature manner. Thank you, Kerry"
