Is the trac-lock a "true" locker. I noticed it has clutches. I need to know If it is a true locker suitable for 1 wheel in the air applicatioins..etc. Thanks...TJ
It is not a locker, it is a limited slip, and it does just what the name suggests. If one wheel is in the air, kiss forward momentum goodbye.

Jeepn is correct. I replaced all the clutches in mine with VERY little improvement. Just a learning experience I guess. Get your self a real locker, and watch out for any of the "lock-rite" type of lockers. They usually won't work in your axle. You have to swap the out the carrier.
