I found a 86 CJ in great shape. But it's got that AMC 150 which I'd have to swap out. I know the bell housing doesn't have a GM pattern so what are some good swap options. It might be a good idea to swap out it's T-4 tranny at the same time. This Jeep has a good body, perfect frame and and axles including a Dana 44 rear. I think it has the potential to be my dream jeep, but I need ideas. It would be a daily driver also. A small V8 or FI 6 would be about right for me. What do you think would work good.
