Algore wants your guns now, Jeeps later.

/wwwthreads_images/icons/mad.gif Well, he SAID it folks....Algore wants to "license" and "register" every handgun in the U.S. Make NO mistake about it. If he is elected, it WILL happen. The license fees will be sky high to get a certain percentage of the guns away right up front, and then with the new "Lists", it will be easy to swoop in and grab the rest, using any little "crisis" as an excuse. The army is constantly practicing "Urban Warfare" for EXACTLY that reason. Just keep on voting Democrat folks, and you'll be living in the disarmed, Socialist Utopia that Hillary Klinton wants you to have. Denial, and apathy on your part will make it possible and that's exactly what the Klintonoid Kommies are counting on. Once the guns are swept up, Algore's next move would be outlawing SUVs....ALL OF 'EM....except for govm't Hummers of course, and those black suburbans. If you know folks out there who are walking around in a daze of denial, WISE THEM UP. We need every Republican vote we can get to take this country back. Otherwise it WON't matter what transfer case fits what with or without an adapter, or if '78 CJs can be converted to HEI ignition. There won't BE any Jeeps runnin' around. Sounds crazy/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif? Well, just think how crazy it would be for half of congress to give a sitting prez a free pass to perjury, treason, and just out and out lying. Get the idea?/wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif

CJDave, you just figured this out!! After the guns and Jeeps, he wants all of the federal lands for himself. Did you know that AlGore invented the internet? He is also responsable for the earned income tax credit. It is amazing that people that are elected to high office connot even read, much less know what the U.S.constitution is! I don't understand how Klinton won the last two elections with such a landslide victory, when I don't know of a single person that voted for him. I am serious, all of the people I ask, both here in Colorado, and in Pennsylvania, deny voting for him. Where did all of his votes come from?

/wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif No problem. Just register them and wait, they'll come and get them soon enough; you enemy-of-the-state you. I suppose you hoard food, and attend church too. Yep, you fit the EXACT profile of that bunch that the dirtbag's old lady called:"That vast, right-wing conspiracy." Which was of course spreading lies about the dirtbag getting a "Lewinsky" under the desk of the oval office. There is a new book out that reveals that when the Jezebel got back to the white house after making that vast, right-wing conspiracy remark on MAtt Lauer's interview, her comment to her staff was: "That'll teach them to F--- with us!" What a bitch. What a perfect match for the dirtbag./wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif

/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif Here is the math. The dirtbag got 43% of the vote. 26% of the people voted. 43% of 26% is 11%. That's how many people in the U.S. elected that piece of s---. And what really worries me now is that since that election, several classes of high skool kids have graduated and reached voting age, having been trained by liberal teachers to think like liberals and vote for the homosexual-controlled democratic party. It REALLY worries me./wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif

Better watch it Dave, remember the last time we got into a political discussion, this BBS was down for
two days. Klinton is looking for your house but your in luck, he can't read a map and he thinks all
houses have wheels.

What worries me, CJDave, is that the vast majority of the people in this country are too busy to be bothered with such "Trivial" issues as Guns, Jeeps, Freedom, etc. that they will just roll over and let this happen to all of us. What do we do? Is a revoloution in order? I'm not looking for a fight with the gov't, just worried that it might come to that! I hope I'm wrong.

thats the electoral college for you. it does not mean much when you vote, because an electoral delegate gets the final say. this program was initiated by our government because they think we are not smart enough to vote correctly. go figure. and then to top it off they put out big ads saying that you need to vote "'cause y'all make a difference". what a crock./wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif/wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif

/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif There won't BE a revolution if the Klintonoids can grab the guns FIRST, then institute all kinds of restrictive laws. As long as we have guns, they know they can only go so far. Disarmament has traditionally preceded the takeover of a population by a foreign power or an internal ideological cadre. One thing you CAN do is give non-Jeepers a ride in your Jeep whenever the opportunity presents itself. MANY people secretly want a Jeep, but are so "practical" that they won't let themselves indulge. They have also been led to believe that Jeep people are somehow "different", and cruder. A ride in a Jeep can be a big deal sometimes and a good "bonding" technique. Those same folks need to be informed that Jeeps are in danger of being legislated out of existence, along with outdoor recreation. That way they can take notice when the algore is lying about how we need to get those guns and get those SUVs. Tell people EVERYWHERE you go about what the algore and the demos want to do to the U.S./wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif NEVER quit talking about it...at work...at home...everywhere you go. Remember, most people let the media tell them what to think./wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif

they dont want misery, they want a mindless economic machine./wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif
if they had it their way, you would have no recreation, no vacation, and unless you are a high ranking politition no holidays except xmas(now the biggest commercial holiday of all, it gets you to spend money to feed the economic machine).

You know,I hear this all the time, Politicians play to the poles. They know
they only have to please 10-15% of they population. They know who that percentage is too. That why they can get away with anything they want. They know
how to read they just don't care about the constitution. That was the reason
for the welfare system,if you control the purse strings you control the vote.
As long as only 25% of the population turns out to vote they WILL do what they
want. Can you imagine the fear in Washington if 75% of the voting population
turned out to vote? That's the ONLY way we will ever take our country back!
We have to make they more afraid of us than the welfare moms and tree huggers.
And the only way to do that is VOTE! They don't fear an armed revolution. They
don't fear "right wing wackos". They fear lossing there jobs and retirement
just like anyother person does. We can sit and talk about this all we want.
But unless we mobilize the people to vote, nothing will change for the better.

CJDAVE asked how Klinton go in twice and the answer is due to the third party platform. I voted against Klinton both times and it didn't matter. The conservatives have two parties to split between and the liberals one had one choice. I amazes me that he ran under a platform of family values and literally got caught with his pants down. I know a lot of people said that Klinton lying under oath was alright due to the personal nature of the subject. If any of you here got a hummer at work and was caught, you know you would be fired.
Now his wife is running for senate in my state. I will vote against her because it's obvious she just moved to NY to be a senator in a power state. I would bet almost anything that she will win. The masses believe any crap that is pushed to them, unless you try to promote the truth. No one wants to hear the truth, they don't want to hear that there might be hard decisions that need to be made. Instead, placate us with lies and make tons of money from illegal investments (Whitewater). In NY we need to register all our guns. I would throw them in the ocean or destroy them before surrendering them. One person mention an armed attach on the government. This would be fruitless and idiotic. We have the best military machine in the world, unfortunately a draft dodger is running it. I agree with the "vote to change" post, that's the only way unorganized individuals can make a change. Even with the electoral college you can still see the number of votes for each candidate.
P.S. - My Jeep is "different", and cruder. Just the way I like it.

Clinton has done so much damage to our rights with "Executive Orders" and the like, bypassing the Congress. The weak congress people refuse to fight to retain their Constitutional obligations. What a mess. One answer is to get folks to vote, talk is cheap. I fear that firearms are going to be the next battle field of our rights. Voting is the answer. Gore is about worthless, trying to fight his "robot" mannerisms and beliefs luckily doesn't seem to work well. John

JeepHead, Just a friendly comment. I do believe that we currently have the best military in the world...we did in the sixties also. Remember Southeast Asia? They beat the crap out of us (for many reasons) mostly because they were motivated. They were fighting for what they believed in and not because they were ordered to. Again, I hope it never comes to that, and today we would probably loose. But they WOULD get one heck of a fight.

God help us.

I do not believe that Al BORE can win the election. I was watching the debate last night between him and Bradley. Ouch. They really hate each other. This could help mess up the "democratic" voters enough to forget to vote (Please, let my word be gospel)!

Here's the thing: we have a "conserative" house and senate. The people in history have shown that they will not let one party rule both the executive and legislative branch. So, what will happen is this: Bush II will be elected, but the conseratives will loose power in the house and senate. This is almost worse for the country...

anyways... hadn't posted in a while, figured I'd keep the ball rolling!

Oh yeah, the SIERRA club actually sent me a "save the forest" mailing. Me, a member of the Blue Ribbon! I think we should all get on their mailing lists, and have them keep sending us stuff, so we 1) know where we stand, and 2) suck up their coffers!

Why is it that everyone I talk to (even in the liberal D.C. area) likes McCain, yet he probably won't get the nomination. That is one man I would vote for just because I appreciate his upfront and honest, yet take no bull$hit demeanor! Even Democrats like him. C'mon now, vote McCain--Bush Jr. has way too many skeletons in his closet that will be exposed once he gets nominated. Rumor has it that Larry Flint's million dollar witch hunt turned up info on Bush that makes his supposed cocaine use look like a girl scout meeting...

CJ Dave, I'd like to buy you a beer sometime. We think a lot alike. Check out my webpage: http://www.televar.com/~bthomas/index.html

Jeeps and guns represent the exact opposite of what Bill Klinton and Algore stand for: solid machinery that demands care and intelligence and personal responsibility to operate; solid machinery that can get you out of trouble if you know how to handle it; solid machinery that you can rely on as an individual, not a part of some homogenous mass.

Slightly off topic, the big thing that alarms me about this 50 million acre land grab, is nobody seems to be excited that it's gonna be done as an executive order: one man, a man who everyone knows has no honor or integrity, and who lies so much only a moron would believe a word out of his mouth, is going to make the decision. And we all know he's gonna make it to help his spineless sidekick Al suck up to the tree huggers.

I suggest we not only give people free jeep rides, we drive them out to somewhere you can spend half an hour plinking with a .22. I never took a gun hater shooting without getting them to at least a more neutral position on the topic.

What you wanta bet the new 50 million acre wilderness will eventually be off limits to firearms? The PETA people are natural democrats.

Yes, do not feel sorry for Hillary, she knows exactly what is going on and completely manipulates any situation. Her husband was stuffing the maid and she comes out and say's he's doing a good job and it's a "right-wing conspiracy". Have you noticed that all the illegal activities they have been caught doing have been right-wing conspiracies? Next they will say it was conservatives on the grassy knoll (where were you CJDAVE?).
You are right, Smokengun, the Vietnam "war" failed do to the public not wanting to be there. But I think there were other things going on. Our leadership was profiting monetarily from the war. This had to cause a conflict of interest between the good of the county and their own wellbeing. Not to mention that was thirty years ago. It's a different military and world now. Much more hi-tech. We blew the he!! Out of Baghdad and they never saw our faces.
I don't think McCain will win due to fact that he is a strait shooter. I like him, he does seem honest. Slick Willie always had this used car salesmen feel. And you know Dirt Dog, just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

I have kept out of the numerous political discussions we have had on this BBS, basically, because I believe that two things you should never talk about with your friends are religion and politics, everone thinks their opinion is correct .I am fairly new to Jeeps and have learned A LOT from all of you (CJ Dave I always learn something new from you) I don't contribute a lot because I am still learning. I have read the previous posts and I agree with some and not with others, but while I may not agree with everyone I respect all of your opinions. Thats the great thing about this country, we can all voice our opinion even if the only thing we can agree on is that we disagree.

Some of the post have been bashing Clinton, questioning his character and proclaiming the Republicans the saviors of this country, but are they? Everyone keeps bringing up Bill getting a little action in the Oval office, this was wrong, we don't pay him to do that. But what about the Republicans? Bob Dole, the poster boy for the party was hooking up Elizabeth at the Watergate Hotel while still married to his previous wife. What about Henry Hydes affair? Where is Newt Gingrich first wife? and how about the more than 60 violations of various ethics rules for House members? Geoge Bush refused to intervene in Bosnia and prevent the slaughter because he was afraid of losing the election. With that said, I have to confess (much to the chagrin of CJDave and others) that I am a Democrat (no I am not some sort of pinko, treehugger, antigun proponent, or ****) who has voted twice for Bill Clinton. Has it really been that bad with Bill? look at economic growth this country has had in the last 8 years, unemployment is at an all time low, inflation? whats that?

The '92 election was the first election that I was able to vote in, but like it or not I voted, unlike most of the country. I agree with all the posts that we ALL must vote as a counrty. We have all heard it before "voting is a right that most Americans take for granted and then complain when thing go wrong" but this statement has some validity to it. But even if we all did vote, the House and Senate must do two things in order to change things, 1. Set term limits to 2 terms and 2. Do away with lobbyist. Both Rebulicans AND Democrats are guilty of selling themselves to corporate America for campaign money.

Before you flame away, I have respected your opinions, please respect mine Keep in mind that you do not even know me, but I too am one of the " Jeep People"
