Did a search and didn't find exactly what I wanted so I thought i'd ask since I've notice a lot of you have them. I was looking at an air tube upgrade, specifically Rusty's, and I am just wondering what more are you getting, other than the brand name, out of some of the other aftermarket ones that are 4 x the price?

They are all the same. You only pay for name. It a pipe with an oiled, cotton gauze filter. All you need is a large, smooth air flow and a placement under the hood that will not pull hot air. You can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost. There are some good designs in previous posts.

This might help if you're looking to do your own. I did some research on the internet and found out what most major companies use for their air tubes. All you have to find is 6061 aluminum or T6 I think they call it. Easy to find on ebay, at a pretty cheap price too. I'm using a 3" OD with a cone K&N filter. Good luck!
