You make some heavy plates which fit into the kick panel area, picking up the body bolts from the front fender, and have a good flat floor flange on them which goes under the mats. The plate bolts to the side )where the kick panel should be) in several places, spreading out the load and keeping the plate from collapsing straight down. Then the bar drops down through a modified dash to connect to the plate. You cut the bar in half vertically to weld a long area where it contacts the plate. Then you find some longer window cranks. /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif
