Since I am on the 8.8 project ive decided to go ahead with an SYE kit before I get it installed. I figure I will need adjustable control arms to get the angle perfect.
Is this true?

Question 1:
Can I just set the angle while welding on the brackets? If you can get away with just welding the brackets on and attaining the right angle, can anyone tell me what angle would be used for a 4" lift with an SYE? Different SYE kits make a difference?

Question 2: If I get the adjustable control arms, can you just get either uppers or lowers or do you need both and if you can settle with one or the other which one would be recommended upper/lower?

answer 1. yes you can set the pinion angle with the welded on brackets......i think 10-15*'s is about right........my D44 brackets where welded at 10*'s....the adjs will just help fine tune the angle after that.

answer 2. you can do eather upper, lower, or both.....i went with the upper adj. because when you adjust with them it shoves your tires to the rear a lil bit......plus i dont like the idea of having the thrd' rod on the lowers cause they might get boggered up after some rock hits.......
