Just to throw this up in the air before I buy one new. Does any one here have a T-15 to chevy bellhousing adapter that they no longer need ? That's the one I'm looking for. Or does the iron duke 225 bellhousings accept the T15? Also would the T-15 and D 20 handle a mild performance smallblock chevy? Have thought of going with the 465/205 but my cj 5 is a little short.

Yes they will hold up. The t15 came behind the 304 and is plenty strong. If you're looking for a granny 4 speed and worried about drive length, go with a t18. I run one in my 3B and I know what short is.

Brhino ,, I looked at advance adapters and their part numbers for T-90 and T-15 adapters don't match so I wonder what the difference between the two is. --check messages

You're in luck. Right now on Willystech.com there is a person named Lynn (Klingel I think) with a t-15 to SBC adapter bellhousing for sale. I think he wanted $60 for it. Just look on their website then look on the for sale/wanted board. Good luck. Nickmil.

[email protected] has a tranny w/ a chevy bolt pattern adapter on it, I'm not sure what it is for but send him an e-mail and he'll get back to you about it or might know who would have one. He has tons of jeeps and lots of parts so send him a line.

I have a T-90 behind my 283 that I'm going to get rid of. We are practically next door neighbors (I'm in Meridian /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif). I'm putting an SM420 behind my 283. I just need to get the SM420 to D18 adapter. I think I sent you a private message not too long ago, but I can't remember.. If I didn't, send me one and I'll give you my address so you can come look at the tranny /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif Bret

SWEET!! I'm that much closer to knocking out another step in getting my CJ 5 done. I'll have to check with Lynn to see about getting that adapter. "Hubeid" I'm going to check on my options of sticking with my T-15 for time-being. If I switched trannys I'd have to consider whether my D20 bolts on or not. Thanks though.

DANG!!! I keep trying to e-mail Lynn at the Willy's . But I keep getting "Unknown recipient" error message. I'll have to try the others . And if it comes down to it I may need to see if my tranny will bolt to the T-90 adapter.Advance mentions a different part number for each but the thicknesses are the same.
