Well I had a little problem with my s-10. When ever I turn a corner and hit a bump I would hear a banging in the frount end of the truck. I had several friends look at it. I got answers as far as the bearing were going out to the c.v. joints were bad. I would take it to a couple frount end shops and thay would say nothing is wrong. but thay could here the bainging and couldn't find any thing loose. Well I found the problem when I was cranking the torsion bar to get the truck to set up like a 4x4 rather than a 2x4. I want to fix it but I am not sure quit how to tackle it. the banging is from the cross member over the torsen bar adjuster it has a lot of play and the bump stops under it are soft. To get ride of the noise will I have to replace the bushing or is thair an adjustment or a couple bolts I need to tighten.

if you need to crank up your bars to make it sit right it is time to replace the bushings,I would recomend finding some poly bushings. Cranking the bars is not going to fix anything.
