With the fuel pump relay in ,I get no spark , with it out I get spark. I have checked about everything I know of. thanks in advance.

Get the codes out. See if it is the cps. If I'm not mistaken there is a code for it.

Thanks , it belongs to a neighbor. He is about to the point where he wants to just get rid of it. iwill pass on the info.

Tell him to turn key without starting it. on,off,on,off,on,off then leave it on the check engine will blink out the codes that are stored they are all 2 digit.Haynes Manual has list of codes.

Thanks , he said he had it checked and it was a tps code. He was going to try and rob a tps off another vehicle to check. I think he threw some parts at it that did not fix it, so he wants to avoid spending wastefully again .
