I have a friend that just asked me about the 5 speed in her YJ. She was all of a sudden having a hard time getting it into gear and can not get it into 5th. She said that it does not seem to be the clutch. I just seems like the shift points got sloppy.
I know that I had a similar problem on a CJ years ago and it ended up being the shifter its self. I just popped the top cover off of the trannie and put a bolt back in and the problem was gone until the bolt again came loose. Has anyone else had this problem in there YJ's
