Greetings folks,

I just found your boards and find them to be great. I already picked a few things up, thanks.

A 92 XJ sport fell in my lap. Lifted with a 2-3" skyjacker. (unsure but I notice they have very few options, guessing) Truck run great. Hit a bump over 35mph, even a small little bump, the front end feels like its comin off. Slow down hang on tight it settles and I'm off again. Mind you I can drive at 50-55 flawlessly though to test was tricky. My question is.....Pitman drop perhaps? I know very little, but I'm learning and that seemed a good start. I have no other steering problems so I'm unsure if I should even consider caster angle or any of the other options. No noises no problem what so ever till a bump.

Sorry to be winded. I would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks again for your time. Have a great day.

The drop pitman arm is a remedie against bump-steer. It might help, but you have a very mild lift so I doubt the benefits. The solution to your problem lies in replacing worn components, right tire pressure and wheel alignment.

And sometimes the combination of imbalanced wheels and worn shocks can also generate quite a wobble.
