\'89 XJ THAT HAS A TASTE FOR IGNITION PARTS

I've had my latest XJ for a little more than a year. It's an 89 laredo 4x4, with a two inch spacer lift and 31 inch BFG's.In that time I've replaced the TPS,MAP sensor, distributor, distributor cap(3 times),rotor button(3times),plugs and wires(2times),along with many other parts not electical. The distributor cap, rotor button ,and plugs and wires were changed about 7,000 miles ago.The set before that didn't last 3,000.It seems to be missing again. This is getting old.I want to enjoy my jeep.Is my air/fuel mix off and fouling the plugs. My dad says it's the o2 sensor.A mechanic ran a diognostic on the computer all sensors are fine?

Are you running the stock coil? Check the resistance at the ballast resistor. Did you buy quality wires? Were they mounted in the stock wire holders? What kind of plugs did you use? Did you use an all brass cap and rotor (like Accell for example)? A bad O2 sensor could make it run rich which could cause drivability problems. I doubt the bad O2 sensor could foul the plugs. Have you removed the plugs to inspect them? What color was the center and ground electrode? Are they the proper heat range? I hope these questions help.
