I have a 88 Blazer and I want to do either a 4" lift of a 6" lift. I am wondering what the 6" and 35's on-road handling would be like vs. a 4" with 33's.

I was also looking for a soft ride, and I was considering a tuff country ez-ride or a skyjacker soft ride. Any suggestions on the best lift?

I will be using this off-road, but I also want it to be a good daily driver.

I have a 6" trail master lift on my truck, but it is a 1-ton crewcab. The ride is pretty good as far as i am concerned(for a 1-ton). I also have 38's, but it rode pretty much the same with 285/75/16's(32").

kill something everyday, no matter how small, just to remain proficient.

I have a '84 Blazer with Micky Thompson 35" Baja Claws a 4" Rancho lift and adjustable shocks.

The M/T's do have quite a bit of road noise and a little vibration but that's expected. In my opinion the Rancho shocks ride better than stock and a thicker sway bar reduces leaning in the turns. All things consider, it rides good.

If you got lots of money to burn, Rancho has a computer that allows you to adjust the ride from inside the cab.

Thanks for the info... I also posted at truck world, and I was given recommendations there to put spacers on the back wheels because it is narrow in the rear...

It seems like there are a lot of people running the trail master lifts.

Thanks for the reply and the info...

I've seen those rancho shock kits... I will probably do that sometime in the future, but it's not real high on the list right now.

Did you have a problem is the angles? I've heard that even after a 4" lift a lot of people have had problems.

I've been looking at various suspension systems, and I think I'm going to go ahead and get the BDS. It will be probably about May when I put it on so I'll let you know how I like it.

I think I'm going to go ahead and put 1" spacers on the front, and 2.5" on the rear to even things out also. I can always take them off and sell them if I don't like that.

Thanks for everybody's input.
