kinda a cheap way to do the wirteup, but it works.
feel free to use it/link it.
i think i did a pretty inclusive job.
its in the sig line, then click on the 10.25FF swap and 8 lug front link.
also, hows the balljoint writeup for the newbies and othe rguys. i had some time a while ago before i put the axle in. most of that info can be used on the TTB also.

WHAT??? You obviously have never stepped over to the chevy forum! They have been [censored]-talking 4WPW for years! I will never buy from them.... too many people have had major problems with them. I can understand getting something wrong every now and then with a big outfit, but I cant remember even one person that said they had a good experience with the company.

Lookin good Burned, do you think the stock d-shaft would work with 6" susp lift and a 10.25" axle? I've always thought it would because mine could use a couple extra inches as it is and the 1 ton has a ~2" longer nose on it than the 8.8", right? Have you investigated shaving the bottom of the housing at all? You could probably use your favorite tool to shave it

the 10.25 is about 2.5 longer if i where to say. it might work, but you might want to hack some, espicially if you where ever to jump it. wouldnt want to bottom out the shaft, that could cause sever probelms with a possibility of a broken magnesium T case.

the diff should be fine. i need all the strength i can get.

what, you dont like my favorite tool?
