Hey guys...

I had this guy approach me, upon seeing me and my buddy's Jeeps, and asked me if I wanted to buy another. I said "of course, I always WANT another jeep, it is just a question of my lack of funds." I talked to him about it for a little while, and got the basics from him.

1979 CJ-7, fully restified
AMC 304
4.10 gears
3" suspension lift
33" tires
"full" rollcage
originally from California, has clean rust free body.

That is all I know about it, because I didnt see it, just as HE described, so I cant be held responsible for incorrect info. He has owned it for the past 10 years, and said it is no project jeep, as it was his project, which is now complete. And I dunno what "full" rollcage equates to, be it a Wrangler roll bar or a true tubular steel custom job.

If anyone is SERIOUSLY interested, reply, and I'll send you his phone number. And no, he didnt disclose the asking price. I am assuming, by the condition and location, it is above $5000

Man, that's right next to me! /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif

If only it was cheaper /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif, not as nice (looking for a 'rough but solid' jeep to take on trails - not as nice as the YJ) /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif, or /wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif if I had a place to put any more vehicles....

I guess I can't get that one. /wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif
