Hey guys, i have a 74 suzuki 440 and i am getting no spark. I pulled the flywheel figuring it was the points sticking or bad, but there doesn't seem to be points at all. Does anyone know if this sled even has points? Also, how would i track down to see if there is power getting to the ignition coils. and how would i check if the coils are bad.

most likely you have a air leak, LEAN, could be many things carb boots check throughly,crank seals very important, choke feeds more gas always.. So if it runs only with chok you have to much air coming in somewhere it should not be. pressure test!!! let me know if Ican help any further used to be a novice myself, back in the day.
