I'm junking out this 73 commando I just bought and the only thing I' not keeping is the engine (it seized), its a 304. I was wondering if anyone wanted any thing off it. It's an auto, had smog, air pump and lines are gone.
let me know and I'll see if its there.

Does it have power steering? I'm looking to do a power steering conversion on my 69.

yes it does but it different than my 71, I don't know if you could make it work. Front half of the frame look just like a 72 up cj .

nope, I didn't get nose with it. fan shroud was in the back but that only nose part there, I think, haven't gone through boxes in back yet.

The waggie radiator I had met the same fate as the first one. I am building solid motor and tranny mounts and going to an electric fan.

electric fans suck
i've had really good luck with a good clutch fan, and fan shroud.
check you body mounts, espically the grill/front clip mount, this is usually the culprit when radiators get eaten by the fan.
another preventitive measure is to weld expanded metel to the back of the radaitor.
