I'm trying to help a friend unload a 67 vert. This gentleman collects cars but is not a Jeep or Jeepster collector and he gives it a 7-8 score out of 10 for originality and condition. I'm waiting on pictures and will post them after I receive them. This is what I know:

1967 Convertible with power top
Top is intact and in excellent woking condition
It has the V6 and auto trans
All of the badges are there
There is no rust but there is some pitting on the trim
The trim is complete and not bent (just some pitting)
The car is rust-free (no rust-through)
The car runs and drives
4WD works great
All of the lights work
The original radio is present and works
The rear deck is intact with trim in place
The car is red and white (same for interior)
No rips or tears
The hub caps are present (no dings or dents)
Oil bath cleaner is intact but sticker is missing
The paint is believed to be original or professionally
re-done to original specs
Continental rear bumper
No dings or dents in bumpers
Believed to have never been in an accident
Rockers intact
The only other thing that seems to be missing is the jack
I forgot to ask about AC

The owner tells me that there is a fire extinguisher installed and asked me if it was original equipment - I told him I didn't think it was.

Overall, it sounds like a nice car. I may fly out to see it in the next week or two. It was listed on E-bay a year or so ago and went for $12,000.00 but the buyer couldn't come up with the money so the seller parked it back in with his collection.

What did that one on Wagon Masters go for? I'd love to have it but I'm busted for this year and probably next...and the year after...My wife thinks it would be a good investment but if I get it home, it probably won't leave.

Any idea what he should be asking for it and is anyone interested? If, so - let me know.
