6\" lift or add 3\" body

hey people im at a block right now. i have the option to either buy a brand new body lift from a friend, the other option is to buy a new 6" lift. im kinda leaning toward the lift for the suspension travel. but on the other hand the body lift is cheaper and i can have it done sooner. if i was going to go with the 6" lift what lift do you all suggest. something around $1300, not too expensive. thanks.

Do both, thats what I did. If your choosing one or the other I'd do a suspension. But on the other hand you won't ever get good suspension travel out of an IFS frontend.

Re: 6\" lift or add 3\" body

There is a 2dr Yukon GT for sale on ebay currently. It is running a 3" body lift on 35x12.5x15 bfgoodrich tires. It doesn't say anything about a suspension lift. It could possibly have tbar cranking and a block in rear though. The tires do look squeezed in there, but I happen to like it alot. I would say go with the suspension lift. Yes it is a lot of money, but when you put just 3" on, you are going to want to put more on the next day. No Joke

i know with a 3" body lift and some cranking you can fit 35's but im not sure about a 3" suspension lift because my front end is lower than and just clears enough so my tires don't rub.
