4wd Problem

I have an 88 Wrangler that uses a vacuum module on the front axle to lock and unlock the hubs. i need to know were these and the vac lines that go to the vac plug on the trasfer case go. one of them is broken and i want to make sure the others are in the right places. they are yellow, red, blue and black. and help with this would be much appriciated. thanks

I have a 90 with the same setup. My vaccum lines were burned through because of some acid for my battery. I tried doing my own patch job but my check valves were messed up. If you still have them use rubber tubes that you can get a local auto supplier. I'll have to go check my setup to see how the lines match. Personally I would suggest getting a new harness. It is about $40 but only Jeep dealerships supply them.Easy to install. The only problem I have now is that that vaccum to the motor doesn't work. I'm still trying to figure out why. I'll write you another message s to the line match.

The yellow from the axle conncts to the short black line that also connects to the $WD light indicator. The blue one is free does not connect to anything. Teh red one connects to the large vaccum line from the excess vaccum canister under the battery. Write back as to which line broke so I can give more details.
