I want to put a 460 out of a 79 ford van into my 79 F-150 that has a 351M motor trans in it right know the van is 2wd and the truck is 4wd will the 460 bolt to the 351M trans and transfer case? If not any help with the mods I will have to have would be appreciated thank you very much

Yes the trans will bolt to the 460. If it's a manual trans, you need the flywheel, <nobr>clutch</nobr> and bell housing from a 460. 79 <nobr>4x4's</nobr> did not come from the factory with a 460. You need conversion motor mounts (L&L or Performance Unlimited) & an L&L p/s bracket cuz the stock one causes the p/s pump to hit the steering box. Actually, you're better off using the Saginaw p/s pump and brackets from the van. It clears and it's a much better pump than the stock Ford.
