Does anyone have a schematic or drawing on the vacume lines for an 87 4.2L?? They are disconnected on my rig and I dont know where they go...my jeep is down...I repeat...my jeep is down!!!
Thanks!!
Throw a Weber carb on there and be done with the vaccuum hoses forever!!! The hours of your life you will never get back from trying to reconnect all of that crap and the headaches involved, will definitely make the $300 carb purchase seem sensible.
Otherwise, I have yet to find a vaccuum diagram that seems to match up exactly to the Wrangler's 258. Sorry.
Search for the nutter bypass. It does away with many vaccum lines. Also this mod is free execpt for some vaccum caps you will need to buy. Although it is illegal for the street. Since we done have emissions test in kansas i did it any how. My YJ got better gas milage and did not blow black somke. It ran cleaner and had more power. You can do this while you wait for the webber carb.....
If I had been here to warn myself that the automatic transmission YJ does NOT need a decel valve, I would have thanked myself. If you have an auto... forget the decel valve.
