started pulling it apart last night (after about an hour and a half of driving across town to go to sears for a gear puller, cause i couldnt find an auto parts store that would rent one) and got to the point where the front case is off... stopped there cause it was getting late... the front driveshaft flange was a booger to get off, but if finally popped off with a little WD-40 (i love that stuff) and the gear puller... any final tips before i open up the main case tonight? with any luck ill have it apart and back together before i go to bed tonight, but we'll have to wait and see

i'll keep ya'll updated

DOn't foget to pull the speedo thingy! I always forget and try to split it and can't figure out why it won't come apart.

Of course now, as soon as it gets hung up, I say, "AHhh, the speedo gear!"

If you think WD-40 is nice, you should try PB Blaster, I won't use WD anymore except to start a fire or clean off components.

My advice is to not rush the job. Leave the Calmini cluster gear on your coffee table a few days for a convesation piece.
