Hi,

I went big time jeeping this weekend, and i soak my Cj, with a '94 4.0 Mpi engine, in a few feet of mud...

i was pull out and i drove back... but 20 minute later, my engine did stall, and i was stuck to get the Jeep on a towing back home... i let it dry and i succesfully started it, but when i shut it down, it didn't want to stat again...

it crank right, the computer have juice... but there's no juice after the coil... i seem to have current before the coil.. but no pulse on the other wire...like when it was wet... Any clue??? is one sensor preventing coil ignition? My computer is ok, since i succesfully started it...What else could it be?

My front diff have a big leak at the back, is it a simple seal to change?

Thanks a lot

The negative side of the coil goes to the ignition computer. If its not putting out pulses then the problems is there, in the dist or the engine crank position sensor (located in the bell housing). My advice would be to start checking connections.

As for the leak....you will have to replace the pinion seal. Unless you are finacialy chanllenged....pay someone to do it....its not too easy....
