Anyone know the thickness of the cylinders on the 4.0 block? Can it handle a .040 bore? My old block had a broken ring and the machinest thinks he will have to go at least .040 over. The option is for a short block...and at $930, I am almost better off with a new block.
I know that most stroker kits call for a .030 over bore and some call for a .060 over bore. Unfortunatly i dont really know what a safe max would be. maybe someone else will chime in
