There is an oil slinger and a oil seal. Both require the timming cover to be removed. The slinger looks like a warped washer. The oil seal has to be driven out CAREFULLY through the inside of the cover.

Well, I've torn enough apart to know that you can crack the timming case $199 if your not carefull. You might want to check the condition of your harmonic ballancer as this is what touches the seal. Make sure it doesn't have any nicks in the seal wear area. To replace the rest of the seals in the area, front pan, and timming cover, you will need to remove the cover anyway. I usually knock out old seals out with a wood dowl or tear it apart with tin snips if stuck with RTV. I also use RTV on the seal's outside ring when installing and good thick grease on the lip of the seal. Grease the harmonic ballancer seal area also when installing. It's kinda hard to predict what seal you may have leaking without seeing the mess. You have to take many parts off to do those seals. Check other areas for leaks first.
