Hey guys: I acquired some 35x12.50x15 Dick Cepek muds in a trade the other day. Can I run those on my 15x8, 4" backspacing wheels, or am I gonna be asking for problems?? (these will go on either my 77CJ7 or my 74 CJ5). I'm running 33x12.50x15s on 15x8s on two jeeps without problems. 35s just seem awfully lage to run on 15x8s. What are y'alls thoughts? BTW, clearance wont be an issue by the time I get 'em on I'll have 4 inches of suspension lift. TIA.

the height of the tire is not a problem, if they were wider it might be different, use the 15x8's they will fit fine.

I run BFG AT 35's on my 79 cj7 with 8.5 wheels with no problem. I put
them on 8.5 wheels because most of my offroad time is spent in mud
and I wanted the narrower tire for that. It would probably be different
for rocks and hard ground.
