On my rebuilt 304, there is a gaping hole where the choke heater tubes bolted onto the intake manifold. What's a good fix for this? i believe one of the bolt holes is stripped, and i no longer need it with an electric choke. How should i seal it up? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think one way or the other, you'll have to re-tap that hole. Otherwise, I think drilling a flat metal cover, and silicone should take care of it.

If I remember, it is just a well in the intake manifold where air going to the choke could be heated. It doesn't open into anything. If there is a cover bolted over it, remove it to confirm but it should just be a well cast into the manifold.

That's what I was thinking also Will. Just a hole that goes back towards the center for the loop to fit into. RTV a cover on it to keep it from filling with crud if'n you'd like.
