30\" Tires

Hey Guys,
Quick question, will 30" tires fit my stock XJ? It's a 95 4.0 HO, 4x4, so on and so forth. Will they fit or am I gonna need to get some spacers and shackles to make them work. I don't wheel the truck, it's mainly just a daily driver and tows my zuk out to the trails. Thanks for the help.

Hey Steve,

I run 30x9.50's on my stock (currently

XJ with no problems at all. Soon to be installing a 3" lift with all the trimmings and 31x10.5's, among many other upgrades.

Are you guys all running stock wheels? I want some 15x7or8 american racing ar-136's w/ 3.75" backspacing (both the 15x7 and 15x8 are 3.75" backspacing) w/ 30x9.5's. Would I have to trim anything?

Same here no problems with 30's until I get it flexed then they rub but I think I got that take care of with a little trimming. The only thing I have suspension wise is bar pin eliminators, removed rear sway bar and use discos up front.

Ive done some pretty ugly wheelin with my 30's with just minimal rubbin' and thats with the back full of camping gear.

30" ARE OK IF U STAY WITH THE STOCK RIMS OR STOCK SET-BACK !!

Aluminum wheels are BAD!!
