3\" Warn Lift

I just posted this under "wife drives my jeep" but I thought Id make a subject since it isn't totally appicable. I have an 85 CJ7 stock & want to lift it to put 32" tires (maybe even 33's) & I saw warn has a 3" Black diamond lift, my husband heard warn was getting out of the suspension lift business. Anyone know if this is true, & can you recommend anything else, Id like not to have to go to a 4" lift (i.e. 2 1/2" with improved shackles?) Thanks ---Ricks Wife---

The unsubstantiated rumor is they (WARN) will rebadge the Black Diamond spring kits. Warn has not verified this either way. No matter, Warn backs their products 100%, and won't shy away because of problems on a discontinued badge...

BD is a great system, but there are better out there....

Re: 3\" Warn Lift

Rumor has it that Warn will drop the Black Diamond line of leaf springs. It's for sale if anyone wants to buy out remaining stock and take over sales. Warn family sold the business and new management wants to concentrate on the Extreme Coil Link Suspension System, (XCL). Was told that the off road manners of this system was good, but the on road manners were not so good. Also the designer of this system wouldn't put it on his personal rig, but procurred one to install and use for displays at trade shows. Have been told that the Black Diamond leaf springs are a good setup on and off road.
