I put 5:71 custom gears in front and left my 3.73 in back then I floored it. I dont understand why this happend? D44 Is out! two days of rusty bolts. Just have to pull that sway bar off so I can use that top plate. I dont need the sway bar. I guess another day in the WD-40 Vat should loosen it up. I went with the PRO-Comp six inch kit because of several reasons. It has teflon pads between the springs, It uses bolt on clamps at each end of the spring packs instead of a crimp, It came with sterring arm, All hardware. Seems like good set up and it is true 6 inch kit at decent price. Of course springs and blocks are have degreed shims/slants.I'll send more pics with kit on.

It's a joke silly ! /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif

Look at the attached pic. Looks like the front axle ripped itself out of the truck and then stopped, no ? I didn't get it at first either. Heh heh good one.

Right on - RJ

It never made sense, but never really needed to

Note to self , dont try to be funny. The blocks: yep I have broken many doing stupid stuff but I couldn't figure out how to get this nutty thing up that high. I just try not to be under it without other support. The new springs come in tommorow at 1pm.Pic of springs? If you mean these old beat to crap, I mean pristine and for sale front springs I took off let me know. I will send pics when lift comes in. The New tires are used Super Swamper TSL's 39.5/15/16.5, The Dana 60 and 14 ff are behind the truck on a pallet from boyce. What a mess. Thanks. Frank

whats the width(a measurement please) on the perches for the 14FF to bolt it to 1/2 or 3/4 ton(same right?) springs. and does the D60 bolt up directly to any front springs or do you have to move the driverside perch out farther.

The spring pad width that you need for the 1/2 & 3/4 ton frames is 42 1/2" center pin to center pin, the 14bolt rears that Boyce sells were orginally 40 1/2". The D-60 front is a direct bolt in except you need the one ton spring plates.

Boyce does seem to be nice and friendly, in fact they send me one of there catalogs every couple of years when they come out with a new one, free but I guess I would be nice and friendly too if someone was about to sent me $3-4,000 !!!
