Ya or Na.. I MUST have a turbo motor. Guy on ebay with a motor for 250 as of now.. Needs a rebuild. Kit costs ~~ 500, 250 ish labor (hone, polish) but unknown stuffs on the heads though! There are a couple of machine shops here locally that I can get work done.

Input?

No, I won't do a 4.3

The rotary is soooo [email protected]#[email protected] hard to find!!!!!

You talking about the one out of a GN? Boy, those are bad ass. Make sure the re-build kit comes with a turbo rebuild too. Those things have to be taken care of. Friend of mine has an '84 GN, that car is so sweet! Almost immaculate condition. If you don't find anything out within the next day or so---I'll head out by his house & get some info for you. I've still got no phone because of the move.

Good Luck!

Brad.

I think this is the Regal motor, it notes "injectors" so that has to be the SEI injection, means ~~ 250hp

C'mon slamurai!!!

I haven't checked the parts on ebay but be careful. The rebuild could be big $$$ and if the turbo is toast, huge $$$. BTW, the parts are mass expensive. If you ask me, overkill for a Zuk but hey, isn't that what it's all about? Those engines were SMOKIN'! Too bad their time was so short lived.... A friend of mine runs one in the low 12's, and that thing hauls ass. Plate says, WHIPLASH.... hey, hey, hey. Love the look of ricers who pull up to go.....
Go for it, just be sure you're informed. Man, gotta love the General

Silly, I was going to go with the 231 v6 turbo, ~~ 300~350 lbs and ~~ 250hp bone stock.

The block casting numbers went with the standard slug of a 3.8, blah..

I'm looking into a twin turbo rotary cosmos engine up in JAX for 2k. 255 stock

Note, this is for the slamurai only! The samurai and x work just fine

Re: 231 CI / 3.8L Buick turbo motor for 1000 rebui

back in high school my friend's 72 cougar was king of the strip...the strip was a 1/4 mile marked off on some really smooth black top just out of town. anyway he got his A$$ stomped buy a guy in a pristine Grand national with the boost cranked. the GN seemed to really dog off the line but then out of nowhere it just took off like a rocket.

that GN set up in a samurai would be fun wouldn't it!!

Just look at my sig below for my opinion. My 3.8L came out of a '79 Sunbird and was rebuilt before going into the Zuk. I love it, and it isn't even a turbo.

BTW anyone have any info on how I can fuel-inject it?

The holley pro jection system might work well. 650 cfm 2 barrel TBI unit. Super simple adjustment, might work?
