Does anyone know if or what it would take to bolt a 231 in place of a 203 on a 78 torqueflite 727??? Do any of the wagoneer transfer cases have the adapter that I would need?? Steve

I beleive that they made the same input spline on both those transfer cases. The only difference is the adapter/mounting plate that goes in between them. I was thinking about converting a np231 to my th350 on my jeep, and when the transfer case was off and the adapter plate was off, the 231 would slide right on the transmission output shaft.
