I don't see any axles either. How is that going to be done in 14 days? Do you have a team of Umpa Lumpa's working on it day and night? What kind of turning radius will the middle set of tires have?

 

well thats a pretty cool idea.....i am also skeptic of the 14 day ETA, but hey,go for it, i really like the stretched TJ look....

its gonna look bada$$ by the time its all done and ready,make sure to keep us posted with lots of pics and stuff and let us know how it does.

i can see the 6WD being cool for mud and all that, but do you plan to do rocks or any tight twisty trails with it? or are you a purely mud kinda jeeper

WHen you spend $100,000 plus on a jeep you can get 7 or so people working at the same time 14 days should be no problem Marks Gotta Prep for the SEMA Show... we think we can get on the Jeep* floor ... Paint and body is done just no pics yet, axles are done, Mark needs to do the Suspension... not much left really!

 

Thats quite a budget. Is that all personal cash or are you getting funding from somewhere? If you've got any money leftover when your done let me know. I'll let you make a deposit into my bank account.

Ok, one more reply to this thread. This is just too cool. I was checking out the web site. That joystick control for the rear tires is just way too freakin sweet. Who's idea was that? Have you thought of incorporating a beer tap into that too? Thats about the only thing missing. The drivers hands will be pretty busy driving this thing. How will it be titled? How long has the whole project taken? I've just got too many questions, but I'll leave it at that.

That is way to sweet. I would love to see the finished job. What color are you painting it?

 

I want to see how you get drive to the back axle.
But, all in all, that looks amazing, the joystick idea was great.

 

The COlors are Coke Cola Red accessories and bright yellow body
THe axles are a USA6X6 exclusive a through pinion shaft as you can see in the picture

 

That thing is going to be WAY COOL! I can't even guess what I would do if I had that kind of money to spend. Keep us posted as to how it is coming for sure.

 

What are you doing for suspension? Coil? Coilover? How much travel will each axle have? This is just too cool!

 

Taht's pretty d@mn cool! the fab work and engineering behind it seems pretty awesome, but I'm still left with one question............. why? just because?

It looks like the intermediate driveshaft is going to be pretty short. Are you going to have to restrict the relative articulation between the two back axels?

 

They are not as far apart on the ground in the picture as they will be on the vehicle.

 

the last drive shaft should move up and down 12 inches on both axles and be @ 28 inches long and have alot of twist... no problem
