Has anyone purchased the new grizzly? I am interested in buying one and would like to hear any + or - comments.

I was a little leary about the auto tranny, but it has proven to be very usable, the one thing I dont like, you seem to be running the motor hard at slower speeds and it eats up the gas... But I never have to seach for the right gear, just hit the gas and hang on :)

just bought a 99 griz in mid december. haven't had it long & have little to compare it to, but did use it pretty hard over xmas skidding cedar logs out of a swamp. worked well in some tuff conditions. had a poor battery in it when purchased but now starts up right away in some rather cold conditions. its cold here now but i did work it hard with the logs & it nevered threatened to overheat (for boogsy's info).

Ive owned a polaris 93 liquid 4x4 and now i have a sportsman 500. Hookup to steep rough terrain, boggs, pulling out buddies
and i have found that the pozzy front and rear drive will save your hiny and most of the time your buddies. I did like the somewhat lower gravity of the grizz. but if you sled, that is a easy solution to overcome. with just three pulling wheels its just an ildle and never had a
heating problem with the polaris fan assest. A budy has a grizz and was given a drink after a day of pulling some slow steep trials type trrain
but a little mountain water is'nt just good for the atv the rider needs it just as much.
