ok, is it possible to get 20 gallons out of a 15 gallon tank in an 88 yj? i know that u can with the 91's threw 95's, and that u can't on the 97's threw 2000's but can u with the 87's threw 90? and how hard is it to do?

I think you've got your dates mixed up. It will work for '91-'95, but NOT fo4r '87 - '90. Here's a page that details the conversion - it may be useful to you anyway... Obi-wan's Jeep Page Hope this is the info you were looking for. Happy Jeepin'!
