you might be able to find somthing through like motortrend or something that has written a review on the vitaras. and xl-7, this is a swap that is tempting me also.

sorry, don't know the answer, but just thougt i would add some info, in case anyone was interested. i was in a the junkyard the other day, and they weighed one for me. 220lbs complete. it might be my next project. they are giving me a nonrunning one to see how will it will fit.

 

keep us posted on how it fits. also are you planning on using the auto tranny? my thought was to get a 2 wheel drive auto, make a stub shaft out of a combination of the auto drive shaft and the sami intermitent shaft and use my already built t-case. space permitting.
