1979 318 engine alternate way to supply oil to rocker arm area

My engine has been running low to zero oil pressure for some time now. It's believe to be caused by worn cam bearings. This vehicle is just used to plow my and my brother in-laws drive. Is there any where, other than where the oil sending unit is, to tap in and get a pressurised oil supply that I cold route up to the rocker arms through the valve covers? We have used a mechanical test gauge at the spot where the oil sender is, and also run a mechanical oil pressure gauge in the unit

Thanks,
Bill
