I am a new member to the forum however would like to hear if anyone has good success with Alcan springs and a 4" lift. This is not a SOA and will also have a 1" body lift. The desire is to perform zero cutting on the newly restored body and fit 33x10.50 on the rig.

That combo should do what you need. I did not want to cut the rear fenders, either. I have 3.5" Alcan's and a 2" body lift. It clears 33 x 10.5 BFG's with room to spare. The Alcan's are great - well worth the money in my opinion.

Here is how mine sits with 3" Alcans and 32" tires and no body lift yet. My 32 10.50's are on 8" rims and I had to cut my front fenders to clear, and they still want to rub up front. I only had a small amount of rubbing on the rear. I figure an 1.5" body lift will clear them.

I'm just trying to figure out what those pictures are of?!

One looks like a cj of some sort? The other... maybe a bronco?

Or maybe I'm just jealous 'cause it looks like they actually run.

Yeah, I know, I know. The CJ front end is going before I paint it. Actually its just missing the "ears" on the grill and the correct hood.

Yeah just hooked up with him today. Purchased the entire disc brake conversion for my front end. He is great to deal with. I did get the replacement body mounts from him. The jeep is currently in CA and should be up here just in time for our great NW summers. I have been restoring it down at the parents house when we visit the grandparents so it has been slower than I would like given the distance however I am going down for there for the next 3 weeks to finish the project. I have a new Centech wiring kit, ALCAN springs, disc brakes to install.
