A few guys on Pirate 4X4 have been working on similar projects and they look really good.

Yeah, I gave him the link, but I forgot to add that I DON'T recomend posting there. Those ass holes had rather yank themselves and make fun of everything or "flaming" (what kind of term is flame anyway? All I can say is if I were starting a slang trend I would have picked a SLIGHTLY LESS GAY word to use), like a bunch of 6 year olds on the play ground, than give up any good info. Reminds me of Bevis and Buthead.... Ahh ... He said penis. Ahh Ha Ha HA Ah.... I flamed you ... I flamed you Ahh Ha Ha ... I'm soo cool...... BEVIS! Don't get me wrong I like Bevis and Buthead, but I don't want to ask them questions when I am trying to do research for a project.

I search and read old posts there but NEVER start anything new.

Those boys ain't all that bad. They only get on you if you ask really dumb questions, or if you ask about something that has already been beaten to death instead of searching first. You have to remember, it's more of a hardcore 4x4 site so they tend not to tolerate questions about what color seat covers you should buy, or what size mudflap works best for 31" tires. They like radical build-ups and discussing new or off-the-wall technology that someone is using on their rig.

 

yeah, but have you actually tried to do a search there? You get 400 posts telling someone to go search! and 2 that have bits of the information you want in it!

I have a half cab it used to fit the targa bar and and hard top front. and a wind jammer untill it rolled too many times not it dont fit. i boxed in the back with sheet metal and boxtube braces. i can get pics of the back boxed in once the blizzard stops this week

That board is kind of like a bad car accident to a buzzard. It's such a show that it's hard not to look as you pass and you can fly by and get some good eating from the mess once it's all over, but in the end you are just glad you were not a part of it as it happened.
