I just bought an 07 Honda TRX450ER a couple months ago and now when I give it full throttle it has like a slight hesitation or a miss at first and then goes like hell. What could be causing that little miss at first?

I put a shot of dry gas and a shot of carb/injector cleaner in when I filled it up this weekend...

This is what I'm thinking:

Dirty Carb?
Do they come with a fuel filter? If so, clogged up?

What else could it be?

1st off clean the carburator....then check jetting...also work on fuel filter and make sure there is no lealks or holes or tweaks in the gaskets and make sure that bolts are not lose~!

Do they come stock with a fuel filter? Because my 400EX didn't...
...I'm at school or else I'd look but I won't be home until saturday so...

it sounds to me like there was a pipe on there then, before some one sold it they put the stock one back on and didnt change the jet back . is there an aftermarket air filter or a pipe on it?

stock pipe, can't remember if the air filter is different or not...
the guy i bought it from said that he never did anything to it besides change the oil a few times. He seemed like a very honest, cool guy.

Sounds like I might have to tear the carb off and check it out. What is stock jetting on the 07 450ER's?
