HI my name is Tom. I'm from central N.J. I drive an 04 LJ w/2" lift soon to be 4, 33-12.50s. I'm alittle confused. I don't know where I belong. This section is short wheelbase the LJ is a long wheelbase but not a mid size. So I need to know if I'm in the rite place for me.

You'll fit in as much as the rest of us. Most drive something that started out as a jeep, and turned into something else. We all have different lifestyles, careers, experiences...... and most here are willing to share advice and information.

So I guess you are in the "right" place.......

You are in the right place.....
Yes, your wheelbase is a little longer....but then again, a CJ7 is longer than a CJ5.
Basically, the SWB applies to all Wranglers and everything before it....
The next category is for Cherokees and Grand Cherokees.

Oh....and welcome..

Good to see another east coast guy.

Welcome!

Hey JeepDawg - I just noticed that this is your 666th post. You are evil! :D Especially seeing as this is our first snowfall today out here, and you'll probably tell us that you're going to walk to the taco stand again today for lunch.

Taco stand? Not today.....I was thinking maybe Sushi.....

Ok...so you don't feel so bad.....the heat in my house actually came on once last night.....it was really cold....got down to 43.....but it's already up to 70 now.....

Enjoy the snow....isn't that stuff white?

Welcome, Tom. An LJ is still a short wheelbase Jeep, so you are in the right place. Basically any CJ or Wrangler derivitive counts as short wheelbase. Stick around here and learn, some of these guys really know their stuff. Others, like myself, just pad their post count with worthless drivel!
