00 Explorer shift kit?

Hey, the wife has a 00 Explorer XLT 5.0L AWD automatic. Not a serious off-road rig to say the least, but it's a nice ride. As you all know, the tranny shifting is weak at best, set up for old people and soccer moms. It works fine, doesn't slip, but it shifts soft and slow, a recipe for disaster. I have looked at B&M and cannot find a shift kit or an electronic shift improver. Anyone know if there is something out there to get some more positive shifts? I don't want to swing a tranny in this thing down the road, so I want to do anything I can do make it last.
