Re: oil pressure gauge

I was going to but never did but was told the fitting next to the oil filter is a good place to use. If you buy a gauge like Sun they sell an adapter kit for the metric threads to US. Jim

Re: oil pressure gauge

I picked up a cheap (sort of ) 3 guage cluster from the auto store I conected the oil pressure conector under the exhaust manifold there are two screw in plugs there I actually had to put the gage in the old oil sender hole and move the old sender to the other hole with an adapter included with the kit the adaprers were hard to thread like they were a little big but they never leaked the plug is very hard to remove I used a small propane torch and heated the area and then was able to pull the plug might have been able to buy a T but didnt look it is easy to do all this when the motor is on a stand being rebuilt

I hope to fit one and a temp guage too.
I'll look for the plugs, where does the temp sender go?
Alfie.

Re: oil pressure gauge

The zook oil pressure senser is soooo big I ALSO had to move the senser to the other hole that had an allen head cap. Mine leaks a little bit, I need to use some teftlon tape.. Easy thing to do. PPL have suggested using copper tubing but I have never found it!?

Re: oil pressure gauge

Nowhere, You can probably get the copper at Home Depot or a plumbing supply shop. Jim
