\'88.5 springs-same size as \'87\'s???

Hi all,

Quick question...I know Suzuki softened up the front springs on the 88 1/2 model year, but are they essentially the same length/width? In other words, could you swap one set for the other?

Thanks...as always!!!

Actually, they're the same spring rate. They just added teflon pads to the springs.

I've owned new and old Samurais though and really can't tell any difference between them in stock ride quality.

one differance on my two samis(88-88.5) my 88.5 samis springs are cut round and have the plastic thing......the 88 springs are cut off square(unless my springs arn't orignal) but they look stock, i don't think the u-bolts were ever taken off.......well my spoa will change that.....:^).....but all interchangeable, i'll be putting one ply from my 88.5 in cause i have a broken one.....
