Tracker Front diff needed

Well today my Tracker became a 2wd version, until I find a new front diff. The one I have is broken off at the mount under the motor. Is this a common issue with Trackers?

Has anybody got a used spare they want to sell?

I have the housing if you just need the housing, mine broke and i never got around to fixing it. Then I ripped out my motor to put in my sammy.. if your gears are still good it's yours real cheap!

Re: Tracker Front diff needed

Mini, Do you have a good case or a busted case? It seems from the post you have a busted one, which is the same problem I have. I've been unable to determine the condition of the gears as the fill plug is stuck in, so we haven't drained anything. When it was working it didn't make any undue noise and did pull, so I guess the gears are good enough for my useage.

I didn't really want to have to rebuild the diff, was hoping to just swap one for the other, but right now the best price I can find is $250. So tell me more about your case and $$ requirements, maybe that's the right way to go. Nate

Sorry my bad..
I busted my case and got a new (well used but not busted) housing that i never used. So I have a good case but it's empty. I also have a bearing kit too.

Re: Tracker Front diff needed

Send me a PM with your price and I'll get a money order to you as soon as I can. I also need to buy a wheel bearing this week, are they really $80? Geez... Anyway, let me know.

Re: Tracker Front diff needed

I'll be cutting off the entire drivetrain/suspension from a Sidekick I bought this weekend. Everything would be up for sale from it.

Re: Tracker Front diff needed

Glen, Park City's pretty easy for me to get to from here, so let's talk $$. I really need just a pinion carrier to replace mine with the broken mount. But the easiest swap for me would be to replace the entire diff. I also need to replace right away at least 1 hub bearing. So give me an idea of how big a bag of cash I have to carry to you to get my tracker whole again. Nate
