More 1.6 swap questions..

ok, progress is going well.. got both motors out, started pulling the wiring harness from the tracker.

1. what flywheel do i use? sammy or geo? the geo one looks damn beefy it's about 1" thick. are the clutches the same, look very similar.
2. Which starter? I assusme this depends on question 1

More questions coming as i think of them.
Thanks in advance!

Re: More 1.6 swap questions..

Use the 1300 Samurai flywheel. The 1600 Sidekick flywheel is too thick to use with the Samurai transmission. Use the 1600 starter. The 1600 starter is a higher quality, gear reduction unit unlike the Samurai starter. FYI, I've heard that the 1300 starter can be used but requires some grinding of the starter case. If you want to use the 1300 starter contact Spidertrax for more info on the area to be ground.

Just curious, do you have a conversion kit (bellhousing and engine mount adapters)?
