Any have Hedman Hedder???

I'm thinking about going with a Hedman Hedder but just had a few quick questions. First, does it have an oxygen sensor fitting? No biggie, I guess, since it only costs about 10 bucks to have it added on.
Also, does the header itself look like all the other headers out there for the Samurai's (ie. Thorley and Calmini)? What I mean is, does it go 4 into 2, then into 1, where it can then be directly welded onto the cat? Better yet, if anyone has a pic, can I have a peak??? Thanks!

Re: Any have Hedman Hedder???

If you search the archives, I think you will find some people who were VERY disappointed with the Hedman Headers. If I recall correctly, somebody said their Hedman fell apart! Thorley has a CARB rating (emissions legal in California) on theirs, Calmini says they are near to having CARB certification on theirs (interesting that they don't seeing as how they're a California company). My Calmini has an O2 port, but that's on a 1.6 16 valve. Don't know about the Sami.

Re: Any have Hedman Hedder???

i had a hedman header a couple of years ago and i actually liked it. it was dirt cheap at the time and held up nicely. the paint burned off of mine the first day and rusted quickly but i never had any problems with it. on my hedman it came with two collectors, one with the 02 fitting and one with out.

Re: Any have Hedman Hedder???

I have a Hedman Header and am on my second year with it and have had no problems with it. Only diffrence i found was better fuel mileage, but we don't need cats here. The header came with 2 collectors, 1 with a hole for the o2 and 1 without.
