Choke Sticking... I think

1988 Saurai

When I start the Sammy it doesn't idle down for a long time. I litterally drive around town for a while before the engine kicks down. Does this mean that the choke is finished. Any hints?

Re: Choke Sticking... I think

This is typical of a Zuk, when it is cold outside the engine takes a while to... calm down, for lack of a better word. The 1.3L engine revs up high when cold then when it gets to operating temp, it starts to rev around 1000 RPM.

Sounds like some of your switches are not properly functioning, Kando is probaly more qualified to speak on this subject. He has made some entries in this BBS about the subject.
